MC Academy

MC Academy is a leading language academy based in the centre of Manchester. Our Academy first opened in 2005 and has since been providing students with a high quality of education and an excellent standard of teaching.

MC Academy is accredited by the British Council and are members of English UK, consolidating the academy’s prestige in the fields of education and learning. We provide English Language courses to Adults and Young Learners year-round and enable students to further their academic careers by providing them with the skills needed to apply to a UK university. MC Academy offers a range of English Language courses to current and prospective students, including General English courses, Exam Preparation courses, and courses for specific purposes, including Business English courses, One-to-One classes, and a Pre-Sessional course for students who wish to apply for a UK university without the need for an IELTS score.

MC Academy also offers two CELTA courses for new teachers who wish to teach English to non-native speakers. The CELTA course at MC Academy trains new teachers in all aspects of teaching, combining 120 hours of contact time with over 80 hours of individual learning to maximise the learning potential of all applicants.

Accommodation is also available to all students who study at MC Academy, should they request it. Accommodation at MC Academy covers both Homestay and Halls of Residence accommodations options, allowing students to fully immerse themselves in British culture whilst completing their studies at the school.
