International House Manchester

International House Manchester is a family-run adult (16 years +) English language school and international football academy in Manchester city centre. We offer all our courses both online and face to face in our school. IH Manchester is affiliated to International House World organisation. There are over 160 IHWO affiliate schools in 52 countries around the world, and we are all committed to the very highest standards in language education face-to-face and online.

All the staff at IH Manchester love to help and so you will always feel at home in our school. We are currently planning to expand our school premises.

Our most popular courses are General English, Executive, Professional & Business English and IELTS Exam Preparation. We also run OET exam preparation courses for medical practitioners.

IH Manchester has moved quickly to meet the changing needs and wants of our students throughout the pandemic. We pioneered hybrid and VR technology for English language learning. We remained open throughout the crisis and used the brief lockdown to upgrade our school and systems to improve the student journey.

We also run an FA affiliated football academy offering young players aged 16 years + the chance to study English and improve their football skills. The academy operates all year long and is also available to students of two independent boarding schools.
