Bradford is a historic city, once the wealthy centre of the UK textile industry. It is home to the National Museum of Photography, Film and Television. It also has world-class theatres, music, restaurants with food from all over the world, excellent cinemas and sports facilities.
The square in front of the beautiful town hall has a variety of events - from cricket in the city, to ice skating in winter. Each June, the city has a major festival when international entertainers and crafts people visit us.
The cost of living is inexpensive compared to other major UK cities, and on- and off-campus accommodation is affordable. It has excellent transport links offering easy access to many interesting places throughout the UK.
We are close to some of the most magnificent countryside in the UK, such as Haworth (the home of the Bronte sisters), Skipton and the Yorkshire Dales.
