3 lessons in the morning concentrating on the four language skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking together with remedial grammar. In the afternoon the emphasis is on helping students improve their business English communication skills. Lessons concentrate on speaking activities in a business context. Tasks are practical and students are encouraged to relate course content to their own business experience. Your business English vocabulary will expand and the course will give you confidence to succeed.

An 8 week course with the examination at the end. Students may join at any point during the course. There are 4 lessons in the morning concentrating on the four language skills of reading, writing, listening and speaking together with remedial grammar. In the afternoon there is intensive practice for the examination with practice tests and step-by-step examples of how to answer examination questions.

A course aimed at motivating and engaging children by making language learning enjoyable. The course combines project based teaching with outcomes negotiated with students. There is one full day excursion and a packed programme of sports and activities. Children aged under 13 are accompanied by a teacher on all afternoon activities from 2pm to 4pm, leaving parents free to take part in the adult vacation course. (NB a parent or guardian must accompany under 13s on full day excursions and evening activities.)

A course for school groups incorporating CLIL lessons based on the English National Curriculum. The emphasis is on maximising student involvement in the language by engaging them in thought provoking activities and projects. We aim to make the classes enjoyable as well as giving students more confidence in communicating in English.

Transfers
From any airport. We are happy to arrange this service. The price quoted will be based on the distance between airport to Scarborough and the total number of passengers to be transferred.
Social Programme
3 afternoon activities, 1 full day excursion and 2 evening activities included with vacation courses. Excursions include York and Whitby.
Weekend optional excursions are available during the summer weeks.
