English Language Courses at International House Newcastle

Learn English in the UK at an English language school in Newcastle.

International House Newcastle

Description

International House Newcastle has been in the heart of the city since 1978. We are an EL Gazette Centre of Excellence. Rated ‘excellent’ by Accreditation UK (British Council and English UK), EAQUALS and the Independent Schools Inspectorate (ISI). Our highly qualified teachers use the communicative method which is learner-centred to build confidence and prepare students for real-life situations outside the classroom as well as academically for university studies.

Newcastle is a university city famous for its energetic social scene, welcoming locals and historical culture. Students can enjoy a compact, fun city with many restaurants and cool bars. Newcastle International Airport links with all major airports in Europe. We have easy access to Scotland and the Lake District, and London is under 3 hours by train. We are only 20 minutes from beautiful coastline and a short coach ride from the world heritage site Hadrian's Wall. The surrounding countryside has many historic castles (two of which feature in the Harry Potter films!).
