Description
The Language Centre at the University of Leeds offers programmes which provide students with the academic and general English language skills needed for university study and a useful orientation to academic and social life in Britain.
All English language courses are accredited by the British Council for the teaching of English and are taught by experienced staff, practised in teaching students from over 100 countries. The Language Centre provides excellent learning and teaching facilities with a well-resourced Self-Access Area for independent language learning. Students have full access to all University facilities, including the libraries, computer clusters, sports centre and Students Union societies.
The Language Centre offers an extensive range of Pre-sessional English language programmes. They are available throughout the year and last for anything between 3 and 22 weeks. There are courses for students at all levels, including undergraduate and post-graduate.
