The International Foundation Year is a full-time, one-year programme that has been specially designed for students that want to study at a British university but have been educated in a different country. Studying in a different culture and in a different language can be difficult and the International Foundation Year provides you with tuition in English and study skills as well as subjects related to your chosen degree programme.
Provided you successfully complete the International Foundation Year, you will be awarded the University Foundation Certificate (UFdCert) and guaranteed a place on an undergraduate degree programme at the University of Salford. We offer over 100 different degree programmes in combination with the International Foundation Year, and the UFdCert is also recognised at many universities across the UK.
