Welcome to the English Language Centre in the beautiful historic city of York! The ELC occupies an historic Georgian Town House built in 1750, within the 700 year-old city walls. A small school, we happily have a famously friendly touch. We offer courses to suit everyone - General English, Adult and Junior Summer Courses, Cambridge Examinations, One-to-one, Teachers' Refreshers, plus CELTA/DELTA. Our teaching team are well-qualified, dynamic and enthusiastic. Above all, they will take a friendly interest in you and your studies. We look forward to meeting you here in York!

Price includes:
- Course books and materials
- A diagnostic entry test (upon arrival)
- 15 hrs p/wk General English tuition
- Full preparation for the Examination
Exam courses include General English improvement classes in the mornings, followed by specific practice and relevant preparation for the examination in the afternoons. Courses are offered for the examinations in: Preliminary English Test, First Certificat
