For more than 25 years, Anglolang has provided high quality courses for individuals and groups. Courses offered include Executive Courses, Teacher Training (Comenius/Grundtvig funded), Examination Preparation (IELTS, GMAT, TOEFL, TOEIC & Cambridge) and Summer Vacation.
Anglolang is accredited by the British Council and provides a friendly and professional atmosphere. The school is a traditional 19th Century English building, yet it has a spacious interior with very modern facilities. For example, wireless Broadband Internet connection, a private cinema, a computer room with Skype and interactive whiteboards in all classrooms.
Anglolang is located in the traditional British seaside resort of Scarborough on the beautiful North Yorkshire coast. The school is ten minutes walk from the beach, the town centre and most accommodation. Scarborough is a medium-sized town where it is easy to make new friends and mix with local people. Being centrally located between London and Edinburgh, the town also provides an excellent base for UK travel.

Price includes:
- 20 hours group tuition*, 10 afternoon events and a 1 full day guided visit at the weekend.
- There are optional weekly evening events at extra cost, such as trips to the theatre.
- *Please note that the August course includes 16 hours group tuition and a full day guided excursion on Wednesdays
Anglolang’s 50 Plus course is designed to offer an adult English course for people who want to improve their English in a group of similar-aged, more mature people.
As well as offering the opportunity to practise English and make new international friends, this two week course also provides the opportunity to increase cultural awareness and take part in a wide range of guided excursions and social/cultural activities, such as:
- a guided town tour - theatre evening
- museum visits - afternoon tea
- a castle visit - cinema evening
- wine-tasting - folk music at a local pub
- a sea cruise - a scenic coastal walk
